Bow shackle type A has the same uses cases as DIN 82101 shackle, just it can be side loaded as well. Because shackle has a pin it is suitable for applications when the shackle has to be installed often. But if the installation has to be a long term or the shackle will be under vibration then it type C or bolt type shackle should be used.
